Position Open: Progressive Tooling
Other Job: Maintain and repair progressive, single station, and draw dies. Troubleshoot and adjust tooling in and out of the press to bring part into tolerance. Must be able to use basic toolroom machinery and have computer skills.
Shift: first
Description of Duties: GD&T a plus. Be able to maintain tooling through preventative maintenance program. Assembly fixturing, gages, press brake tooling as needed. Familiar with CRS, copper, aluminum, brass, stainless, nickel alloys, HSLA and AHSS. Thickness from .010 to .375
Brief description of products and services: Automotive stamping and fabricator. Also assemble automotive components.
Brief description of tool room support equipment: Manual milling machine, surface grinder, saw, Okamoto, lathe, laser, shear
Brief description of engineering support systems and staff: The toolroom has support from a tooling engineer and designer. All prints are electronically stored and accessed. Solidworks and DWG’s are used.
Brief description of tooling materials: Die components are of carbide, CPM’s, M4, D2, A2, A-11. Use of tool coatings is widely used.

Brief description of Vacation Policy: Vacation is accrued on a monthly basis from start date and is available for use after the 90 day probationary period. One year = 40 hours; 2 through 5 years = 80 hours; 6 through 10 years = 120; 11 through 15 years 144 hours; and 16+ years + 160 hours. Employees are allowed to bank up to 160 hours. Once the employee goes over a pay out of 40 hours is generated. It is not a use or lose policy.
