Description of Duties: Responsible for the set-up of progressive dies in vertical presses, overseeing the stamping production area to ensure maximum output, quality control and completion of work orders in an efficient and accurate manner.
Brief description of products and services: Quick Tie Products, Inc., (“QuickTie”) manufactures and distributes the QuickTie™ System, a proprietary, patented hold down system for high wind and seismic construction.
Brief description of tool room support equipment: wire EDM, (3) vertical mills, lathe, (2) surface grinders, hoists, radial arm drill press, press brake, laser, heat treat
Brief description of engineering support systems and staff: AutoDesk Inventor and design and manufacturing suite (including AutoCAD); professional engineer; mechanical draftsman
Brief description of tooling materials: tool steel, die springs, die sets
