Position Open: Progressive Tooling
Other Job: POSITION SUMMARY: Develop tools and processes for the total Can manufacturing process with an emphasis on cupping and deep draw transfer press tools and equipment in a high volume, tight tolerance environment. Troubleshoot Production problems and make repairs/adjustments to tools and processes to ensure the highest quality product. Work closely with production management, product design and quality to continuously improve operational efficiencies and maintain product and process standards.

Description of Duties: Maintain complex tools & gages Use shop mathematics & trigonometry to establish allowances Prepare machines for production run & ensure acceptable product Investigate improvements to achieve increased operational effectiveness
Brief description of products and services: Lithium Ion Battery Cans 2170
Brief description of tool room support equipment: This is a production Tool Maker position - All tools will be supplied by the company
Brief description of engineering support systems and staff: Reports to the Production Supervisor but has direct contact with Production Manager and support functions such as Engineering and Other Development Tool Makers
Brief description of tooling materials: Full Relocation offered 10% differential for night shift (5:30 pm - 5:30 am) Benefits start day one!

Brief description of Vacation Policy: Use it or lose it because time off and time with family is important to us. Vacation time counts towards OT too! You may use in 1/2 day or full day amounts (6 or 12 hours).
