Other Job: JAE Oregon Inc. is an Automotive Connector Manufacturing Facility in Tualatin Oregon. JAE consist of Electro-plating, Stamping, CNC, Molding and Automated Assembly manufacturing processes in an ISO:9001 /ISO:14001 /TS16949 environment. We are looking to fill an open full time Stamping Die Maintenance Technician III position
Shift: third
Description of Duties: Stamping Die Maintenance Technicians work support production with corrective and preventive maintenance performed around the clock on 90+ progressive stamping dies.
Brief description of products and services: JAE Oregon Inc. produces primarily SRS Connectors (airbag) in the Automotive Industry.
Brief description of tool room support equipment: The Stamping Tool room consists of multiple die work benches, ultrasonic polishers, flat grinders, shim welders and other equipment commonly found in a die maintenance environment.
Brief description of engineering support systems and staff: Department consists of 2 techs per shift and 1 tooling inspector who all report directly to the Manufacturing Engineer of the Stamping Department. There are also Tooling Engineers and Tool Makers on staff to support maintenance activities.
Brief description of tooling materials: JAE Oregon uses primarily carbide and a very small amount of tool steel.

Brief description of Vacation Policy: Paid time off is accrued on a biweekly basis and is used for company scheduled holidays and also personal vacations

The position is on a Graveyard (third) shift that operates Sunday night through Friday Morning beginning at 11:30pm – 8:00am.
