Analyzes specifications, lays out metal stock, sets up and operates machine tools, and fits and assembles parts for fabrication and repairs and sets up and operates standard machine tools to perform varied operations by performing the following duties

Description of Duties
Builds part from prints/models, Able to use CAD/CAM, Builds fixtures, molds, dies, and associated components, Sets up and uses machine tools to machine parts, verifies conformance to specifications, Heat-treats tools and parts.
Brief description of products and services
Tooling support of Delta's in house stamping department that manufactures electrical contacts and terminals for assembly into mechanical electrical switches.
Brief description of tool room support equipment
Grinders, Manual Mills, CNC Mills, Lathe, EDM, Wire EDM, Heat treat oven, welder, CAD and CAM software.
Brief description of engineering support systems and staff
Full design engineering and manufacturing engineering support staff on site. We also have relationships with a full team of offsite tooling support vendors as well.
Brief description of tooling materials
Materials stamped include: brass, nickel plated brass, copper, tin plated brass, and aluminum. Die materials include: A2, D2, carbide, powdered metal
