Position Open: Machining CNC
Other Job: This position is for a toolmaker with a strong experience in injection mold making along with tools, jigs, fixtures and gages. This position will work hand in hand with engineering in basic design work along with supporting the production area for mold or tool maintenance and repair.

Description of Duties: Design&create tools&molds Set up&operate lathes&mills, grinding, drilling, honing, wireEDM, sinkerEDM Use CAD & CAM software Select materials, cutting tools&abrasives Use hand&power tools, polish operations Prepare tools Repair molds, jigs&fixtures
Brief description of products and services: Phoenix America Inc. manufactures magnetic encoders and magnet target wheels. This position would be building, maintaining and repairing the injection mold tools, dies and other fixtures required to make these products.
Brief description of tool room support equipment: CNC Lathes & Mills, Wire & Sinker EDM machines, surface grinders, manual lathes and mills, measurement devices, etc.
Brief description of engineering support systems and staff: We have a tool designer and several engineers on staff with over 100 years of combined experience.
Brief description of tooling materials: Injection mold tools typically are comprised of A2, D2, CPM and other hard tool steels. Fixtures are comprised of various other materials from plastics, aluminum to steels.

Brief description of Vacation Policy: First calendar year: up to 5 days Second calendar year: 5 days Third calendar year: 10 days Sixth calendar year: 15 days
