Other Job: Wiegel Tool Works in Wood Dale is looking to add a Process Engineer to the team. It is a fabulous opportunity at a premier manufacturing firm that is growing rapidly.

Description of Duties: The Process Engineer is responsible for implementation of technical solutions for performance, efficiency, processes and methods.
Brief description of products and services: Build dies, construct fixtures, fabricate prototypes and machine close tolerance metal parts. Set up and operate to make or repair tools, dies, fixtures and to sharpen tools. Setup and operation of grinders, drills, mills, lathes and various hand tools.
Brief description of tool room support equipment: 3D CAD modeling, Siemens NX. Latest wire EDM technology, CNC machining, CNC optical profile grinding, waterjet cutting. Press equipment from Minster. Bruderer presses.
Brief description of engineering support systems and staff: Accurately documented with detailed engineering drawings or blueprints. On-screen simulations show our engineers how parts and tools will function together in production and enable us to design and debug progressive dies.
Brief description of tooling materials: Copper, Brass, Phosphor bronze, Beryllium copper, Steel, Stainless steel, Carbon Steel, Aluminum, Galvanized steel, Titanium, Platinum
