Position Open: Spring/Slide Forming

Shift: first
Description of Duties: Build new dies and tooling for Fourslide/Multislide parts. Help design new tooling using design software. Operate all tool room equipment inc. CNC Mill programming. Make machinery repairs/improvements to Nilson and/or Baird machinery.
Brief description of products and services: Flat springs, clips, fasteners, and wire forms to a diverse customer base. Min material thickness .004", Max stock width 2.125". Max wire diameter .187"
Brief description of tool room support equipment: Tool room equipment includes 2 CNC Mills, 2 Harig surface grinders, band saw, lathe, etc. Wire EDM work is subcontracted at this time.
Brief description of engineering support systems and staff: We have one tool designer on staff, General Manager participates in tool design as well.
Brief description of tooling materials: A2, D2, S7, CPM, Carbide for spring tooling.

Brief description of Vacation Policy: working on new PTO system, currently 1 week after 1 year, 2 weeks after 3 years, 3 weeks after 10 years.
