Description of Duties: Sets up and operates machine tools and provides machine shop service to the entire manufacturing operation. Constructs, alters, or repairs a wide variety of developmental and experimental tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges, to close tolerances.
Brief description of products and services: PennEngineering, located in Danboro, PA is a global leader in the manufacture of fasteners for the aerospace, automotive, electronics, computer, data/telecom, medical, automotive, marine, and general manufacturing industries.
Brief description of tool room support equipment: Manual lathes, mills, grinders (I/D & Surface).
Brief description of engineering support systems and staff: PennEngineering has a full engineering department that supports manufacturing. They use ProEngineering CAD system.
