Position Open: Progressive Tooling
Other Job: We are looking for Tool & Die Makers.

Description of Duties: Build dies, jigs & fixtures according to specifications set by the engineering department, Assemble dies, Condition and debug new high speed stamping dies
Brief description of products and services: Scenic Tool and Stamping specializes in progressive stamping, which is a metal working method that includes bending, coining and punching out parts from a coil of raw material.
Brief description of tool room support equipment: The process of building and maintaining a stamping die is complex and demanding and requires a variety of equipment. Our experienced tool makers rely on their equipment to execute engineering's designs.
Brief description of engineering support systems and staff: The engineering team use software like Solidworks to create 3D models that allow you to see how the inside of the die will work.
Brief description of tooling materials: The majority of our tooling begins with either an EDM or CNC machining process at our HAAS machining center. To grind tooling pieces, we typically use one of our CNC grinders such as the Amada Meister surface grinder.
